Change Visitor Visa to Study Permit (Part 1)

Change Visitor Visa to Study Permit (Part 1)

Change Visitor Status to Study Permit, which means that the applicant first applies for a tourist/visitor visa, then enters Canada as a visitor after the visa is granted. After that applicant applies for a school in Canada, and obtains the school admission notice, and  then applies for a study visa.

Change tourist visa to study permit to study in Canada easier

  1. Due to institutional approvals, laws and regulations, people who may be denied visas in Canada: such as older age, adverse education, single mothers, financial/study plan issues, and people who tend to be immigrants are likely to be denied visas in Canada. Applying for a tourist/visitor visa in Canada then converting it to a study permit is a pathway to immigrate in Canada.

People who change from visitor visa to study visa will get education in Canada and their spouses will also get an open work permit unconditionally

  • Once you are inside Canada, you will be able to change from a tourist visa to a study permit. This study permit will allow you to study in a post-secondary designated learning institution. Your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children may also be able to get processing on a visitor visa, work permit or study permit.

Fastest way to immigration to Canada is change from a visitor visa to a study permit

  • More and more people choose to convert their tourist visa to study visa (study permit) so they can immigrate to Canada. The shortest way to change from a visitor visa to a study visa is to finish six months to 12 months of courses and one year of work to apply for immigration. Compared with other ways to immigrate in Canada, there is almost no need to prove your bank , the requirements are much less than other methods. It is safe to say that converting from visitor visa to study visa is the best immigration method with the lowest threshold, the lowest cost, and the highest success rate.

As we all know, Canadian student visas have always been difficult. There are at least three major things: funding, language and study purpose.

Funding

To study in Canada, international students require proof of funds of at least $25,000 minimum amount of money in their bank accounts or their sponsor’s account statement. Additional amount of funds is needed for the accompanying spouse and each dependent child. Tuition in Canada starts at approximately $15000 CAD per year, for diploma and graduate programs in college. Though the program delivery instructions clearly state that the student is required to provide proof of sufficient funds for the first year of the program, merely focusing on first-year may not be enough to convince the IRCC officer.

You must prove that you can support yourself, and the family members who come with you, while you are in Canada.

You can prove your funds with:

  • 1. Proof of a Canadian bank account in your name, if you’ve transferred money to Canada
  • 2. Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution
  • 3. Proof of a student or education loan from a bank
  • 4. Your bank statements for the past 4 months
  • 5. A bank draft that can be converted to Canadian dollars
  • 6. Proof you paid tuition and housing fees
  • 7. A letter from the person or school giving you money, or
  • 8. Proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program.

Their financial strength and wealth are very good. However, finding a visa study abroad office in China is not professional enough. As a result, the visa was refused due to unreliable funding sources. We need to prepare convincing materials and letters, together with financial statements, in order for the appeal to be successful. Some students asked if there is a simple procedure for obtaining a study permit in Canada? SDS is relatively loose on funding requirements.

English

Language tests can be a real challenge for a lot of people. Even though good grades are a key factor in visa approval, consistency across previous academic performance is also a strong point to get your student visa. Visa officer will take a look at your language ability, such as English or French tests (IELTS/TOFEL scores). With a combination of uneven grades and a low score, a visa officer may question your ability to cope with English-taught courses and can deny your application. Getting a student visa isn’t as simple and straightforward as it may seem, but if you choose to change from visitor visa to study permit, there is no IELTS requirement to some Public Canadian College.

Purpose of the visit

The learning objectives include many key words that refuse visas, such as older age, inverted education (read upside down), immigration tendency, etc.

These groups are also suitable for transfers.
